We are currently closed to new members.
We will not be adding anymore names to the waiting list as it’s far too long at the moment.
We hope to re-open the waiting list once our existing membership renewals are complete.

The membership window for 2023 has come and gone. We have more names on the list than there are spaces available. Whilst you are welcome to ask, it is unlikely that spaces will be free until April 2024. If anything changes I will post an update here.
Unfortunately, it seems that we will not have any membership places available until April 2023 at the earliest.
You’re welcome to email us to be put on the waiting list, but there is no guarantee of a place even after 2023.
Should there be a mass exodus of club members to something like competitive knitting or bare knuckle baking, then I will post the places available here.
Thank you for your interest in BWFAC.
We would like to say “Thank You” to all the members and guests who attended the Charity Shoot in December 2021.
The total amount of money raised for Gillingham Street Angles was £650!

The club has reached its limit for memberships. There is an upper limit on memberships due to the woods in which we shoot having a protected status (SSSI). Therefore we are no longer able to take on new members.
We are still working through the backlog of membership requests gained throughout the lockdowns, so if you contacted us earlier in the year we will let you know as soon as possible if you have been allocated a space.
As soon as spaces become available again – usually the end of April each year – I will post the info on here.
We are open again for all members and are currently allowing guests in accordance with NFAS, Club and HM Gov regulations.
Should you wish to visit us and you dont know a member to sign you in and accompany you, please contact the Chairman at ChairBWFAC@gmail.com
In line with HM Govt and NFAS guidelines the club is closed to all members until, and including, Wednesday 2nd December. As ever, these rules are subject to change…….
We are limited in numbers due to the woods having Site of Special Scientific Interest status (SSSI) and have just reached our membership limit.
We now have a waiting list for membership. If you wish to be added to the list please contact:
bwfacmemsec@gmail.com
If any of our current members decide not to renew for another year, then the next intake of members will be at the end of April 2021, unless any of those recently offered places decline the offer of membership.
The club is now open again and as we believe that we have met the NFAS and HM Gov safety requirements, we can begin taking on new members again.
If you want to come and play, please contact – bwfacmemsec@gmail.com
We are now open to guests in accordance with the guidance from NFAS.
Any news around the postponed shoots will be posted as soon as possible……but dont hold your breath…..
The club is now open as normal, to members only. Please remember social distancing rules and use gloves or hand sanitiser when necessary.
We are not able to host visitors, hold competitions or accept new members until we have clearer advice from both NFAS and HMG.
We are now open to members only. Normal opening times are in place for week days, but weekends have timed slots that must be booked via the Chairman.

Andy Phillips has had a conversation with our Landlord around the closure of both courses for the visit of the Mycologist on Saturday 10th November.
They decided that as long as course 1 remains closed all day then course 2 can be left open for archery as long as it is empty by 1pm.
Should you wish to shoot then enjoy course 2 but please be back at the hut by 1 as requested.
Thank you in advance,
Course Closure
Please note that both courses and the practice butt area will
be closed to all members on
Saturday 10th November
As part of the ongoing SSSI advancements the Landlord is
bringing in a Mycologist to examine the varieties of Fungi
within the woodland.
The club will be closed to members all day.
Course 1 is now open but please be aware that Andy is still tweaking the shots. If you find any problems with the course please do not alter anything, just make Andy aware of your issue. You can leave a note on the desk in the clubhouse if you don’t get to see him.
Thanks and enjoy the course.
To All BWFAC Members.
Please be aware that Course 1 is closed until further notice. Do not attempt to shoot this course.
Course 2 is open but may have 1 or 2 targets missing.
Thank you.
BWFAC Committee
On Sunday 19th of August course 1, 2 and the practice butts will be closed due to the setting of the new courses.
Please attend if you can, the more members that assist the sooner the work will be complete.
Both courses will remain closed for as long as necessary to allow all of the work to be completed.
Please be aware that both courses and the practice butts will be closed on Saturday 12 May.
This is due to SSSI work being carried out on behalf of the landlord.
